Applications
Formwork and scaffolding are used in vastly different applications.
Since formwork is made to contain concrete, which is very dense, it must be strong enough to support the weight as the concrete hardens. It needs to be properly designed with the pressure of wet concrete in mind so that the formwork does not bend or break as concrete is being poured in.
On the other hand, scaffolding needs to be easy to set up, dismantle, and transport.
